Sledge slide was decided in spring of the year 2000, when this company
attended selection procedure of Municipal office of Špindlerův Mlýn and was
selected as a keeper of Sledge slide for 10 years or as the case may be for 20 years.
Into consideration was taken nvestment of 5 million CZK.
The beginning of the Sledge slide is on Spindler cottage - Malý Šišák and ends on Dívčích Lávkách by Bílé Labe. The length of the whole slide is 4.000 m.
The whole slide is put into condition by highly efficient snowplough Kässbohrer, Opening time is from 10,00 a.m. till 16,00 p.m., then from 18,00 p.m. till 20,00 p.m. rides at night. The slide is alighted on the whole length. For the transport of sledgers to the start of Sledge slide serves bus for 45 persons + minibus for 18 persons + minibus for 9 persons. These buses have a steady station on town square in Špindlerův Mlýn. In the buses we have TVs which are used for instructions for sledgers, security film and then for entertainment on the cca. 20 minutes long way up to the hill, also commercials of our partners.
Our clients gets the sledges on the beginning of slide. We have enough of sledges for all of you - cca. 350 sledges. The main emphasis of the action is put on security of the slide and prevention against eventual injury.
The whole action is promoted by Municipal office of Špindlerův Mlýn and is also under patronage of Authority of Giant Mountains National Park.
